Years
2019-2022

My role at Southeastern University was Graphic Designer, however, my responsibilities included much more than executing designs. Here I guided and directed photoshoots, assisted student designers, and conceptualized the overall vision for multiple marketing campaigns.

Fall 2022-2023 Admission Campaign
Each year Southeastern University adapts a new look and feel for its Fall Admissions campaigns. In 2022-2023, I created an entire “mini-brand” that included film photography, doodles, gradients, and unique fonts to make Southeastern’s marketing materials feel more fun, youthful, and relevant. This was the first year Southeastern broke away from traditional “university” branding styles and students loved it. Southeastern University ended up adapting these elements into its main branding which is still used today.

Apparel and Merchandise Design
Along with the refreshed look for the Fall Admissions campaigns came merchandise and tees. Never really worn by students, the old tees were just a giveaway item to add to their collection of tees from other University visits. When I joined the marketing team, I wanted to make designs that students would actually wear and love. I created apparel that helped students proudly represent the Southeastern bran, and every year, the tees were eagerly anticipated by current and future students.

Campaign Photography & Videography
In 2022-2023, I suggested making our marketing feel student-created. This was the year film photography was really trending, and we often saw students at football games and other events with disposable cameras. I directed multiple photo shoots and brought disposable cameras along for the photographers to use, often snapping some photos myself. These became so popular that SEU changed the visual style of branded shoots on campus for years to come. The result: marketing materials that showed prospective students what it was really like to attend Southeastern.
